In 1937, the Palais Royal Belle Espérance, a famous Parisian hotel is in the midst of a financial crisis. The manager announces the arrival of an artist whose fame could restore the Palace's reputation: Josephine Baker.
For her new show at the Folies Bergères, the world-renouned singer is wearing an exceptional set of diamonds. In order to steal it, Matthew and his two friends, experienced thieves, pretend to be wealthy clients. But not everything goes as they planned...
Set in the interwar period, this story plunges us into an era torn apart by social conflict, the rise of extremism and racism.
