The role played by the arts in the Islamic spirituality

Tayeb Chouiref, PhD in Islamology, lecturer and writer, will give a conference on the role played by the arts in the Islamic spirituality.

Tayeb Chouiref is a specialist in Muslim mysticism and the Hadith sciences. For many years, he taught Arabic in secondary schools and was a lecturer at the Université Charles de Gaulle in Lille.

Today, his work focuses on translating and editing major texts from the Arab-Muslim heritage.
