Chu Teh-Chun
Works on paper

Vernissage on Thursday 15 May 2025 at 17:00.
The Centre des arts is honoured to present a rare selection of works on paper by Chu Teh-Chun. While less widely known than his oil paintings, these pieces form an essential part of his artistic journey. Through calligraphy and ink on paper, this medium allowed him to maintain a deep connection to his Chinese heritage, expressing a sense of freedom and spontaneity in his gesture.
With a strong educational focus, this exhibition offers a unique opportunity to discover a more intimate side of the artist, revealing the evocative power of his compositions. It highlights his exploration of emptiness, movement, and the delicate interplay between ink and material—key elements of his visual language.

In addition to this vital conservation effort, it continues to compile a comprehensive catalogue raisonné. Beyond safeguarding his memory, the Foundation is committed to exploring new ways of sharing his art and engaging with diverse audiences.
