10 rue de L’Espoir
Presented by the Year 8 PFB students of the Middle School of La Grande Boissière
Atelier théâtre-musical
In Paris, the Rue de l'Espoir is the scene of a perpetual struggle between the Machin family, who run the neighbourhood butcher shop, and the Chose family, the florists. Despite this ancestral hatred, Anton Machin and Lila Chose secretly love each other. Will they finally be able to live their love story?
The Rue de l'Espoir is also the victim of numerous fires. Will the firefighters be able to discover the causes?
The Rue de l’Espoir is inhabited by singular characters such as Mr Herbert, the man with the umbrella, and Adele, the homeless woman with a tender heart.
In this bilingual musical play by Marion Decorvet, based on the characters of the song "Dans la Rue", you will be immersed in a story of love and hate, friendship and violence. A bittersweet comedy, performed by 20 Middle School students, that is a must-see!
